BPC-157, short for Body Protection Compound-157 is a penta-decapeptide composed of 15 amino acids. It is a partial sequence derived from the body protection compound which can be found in human gastric juice. Research shows that BPC-157 accelerates the healing of many different types of tissue like tendons, muscles, ligaments, skin, and the nervous system by significantly accelerating reticulin, collagen formation, and angiogenesis and stimulating macrophages and fibroblast infiltration.
